Installation of Solid & Engineered Flooring
Nail-down or glue-down, the proper way to hardwood floor laying is dictated by the type of base and all our clients can rest assured we will take the right approach to it. FloorWorks use strong, health-friendly adhesives from Bona, Wacol and Mapei.
Our service comes with subfloor damp levels testing, damp-proofing (if required) and all our floating installations, come with free consultation on insulation and base levelling.
Floating is ideal for engineered and laminate floors - it allows the flooring to be laid with layer of underlay, which can tackle sound proofing or damp proofing issues. It also the recommended installation for properties / flats with shared walls and ceilings.
