Installation of Solid & Engineered Flooring
Nail-down or glue-down, the proper way to hardwood floor laying is dictated by the type of subfloor and all our clients can rest assured we will take the right approach to it. FloorWorks use high quality, low VOC adhesives from Bona, Wacol and Mapei.
Our service comes with subfloor moisture levels checks, damp-proofing (if required) and all our floating installations, come with free advice on insulation and base levelling.
Floating is ideal for engineered and laminate floors - it allows the flooring to be laid with layer of underlay, which can tackle sound proofing or damp proofing issues. It also the recommended installation for properties / flats with shared walls and ceilings.

The Borough of Camden is situated in North London and forms part of inner London. The southern reaches of the borough form parts of Central London. Camden?s residents live in 18 wards which are: Belsize, Bloomsbury, Camden Town with Primrose Hill, Cantelowes, Fortune Green, Frognal and Fitzjohns, Gospel Oak, Hampstead town, Haverstock, Highgate, Holborn and Covent Garden, Kentish Town, Kilburn, King?s Cross, Regent?s Park , Saint Pancras and Somers Town, Swiss Cottage, West Hampstead. The borough was formed in 1965 combining the former areas of Hampsetad, Holborn and St. Pancras. The borough was named after Charles Pratt, 1st Earl Camden who was English lawyer, judge and Whig politician. He acquired the manor through marriage. In 1791 he started the development of the settlement by building 1400 houses which was later become known as Camden Town. Today?s Camden street markets are popular tourist attraction selling books, alternative fashion clothing, accessories, food, antiques and more bizarre items. |
